The Issues on the Industrial Property within the Innovation Economy of Ukraine: Effectiveness and Legislation and State regulation Implementation were discussed by the Committee on Science and Education during the Field Committee Hearings in Dnipropetrovsk City.
During the Hearings it was stressed that the competitive ability and stable flourishing of the country are first of all determined by the effective state policy in the sphere of innovation activity and industrial property protection. The Chairman of the Committee, Volodymyr Polokhalo informed the participants on the Committee work regarding the issue to be discussed.
The participants of the hearings declared that there are still numerous problems that have not been solved during 15 years and need immediate and systemic solution
In the bill on recommendations due to the hearings results, that is planned to be adopted by the Committee, the participants stress the necessity of the formation of the unified central body of the executive power in the sphere of intellectual property for the systematizing of the state management functions, effective functioning of the system of industrial property protection and strengthening of the violation for the realization of the state policy in the sphere.
Moreover, the bill on recommendations emphasizes the necessity of the implementation of the National Council on Safety and Defence of Ukraine resolution named "On Law and Protection of Intellectual Property and Strengthening of its Significance in the National Treasure Formation".
The participants consider that the relevant ministries and departments´ should elaborate the bills regarding the stimulation of innovation activity, the program on the development of the state system on the intellectual property in Ukraine protection.
